The Kawartha Lakes Community Futures Development Corporation (KLCFDC) is a private, not for profit organization located in Lindsay, ON. Since 1986, Kawartha Lakes CFDC has provided a mix of financial and business counselling services designed to support rural economic development initiatives, spur innovation, and increase job creation and job retention among entrepreneurs, NFPs and social enterprises in Kawartha Lakes.


Loans Manager

Location: Lindsay, ON
Start date: June 1, 2021

Key Responsibility Areas: Loan Portfolio Management, Underwriting and Loan Administration

The Loans Manager works as an integral member of the Kawartha Lakes CFDC Team, the Board of Directors, its Investment Review Committees and other AD Hoc committees ensuring that the KL CFDC’s overarching objectives and mandate are achieved. This includes the processing of all necessary information pertaining to loan submissions (Investment fund and other loan programming projects), day to day lending operations, due diligence, financial forecast preparation, business consulting services, internal and external reporting, marketing and promotion of the investment fund and other programs/activities as needed. These activities are to be carried out in a timely and efficient manner with the utmost professionalism, integrity and ensured confidentiality.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration or other relevant commercial lending/ industry experience;
  • Ideally minimum of 3 - 5 years’ loan underwriting experience with experience in mortgage lending, loan portfolio management and administration, marketing and client services experience.

Programs Administrator

Location: Lindsay, ON
Start date: Immediately

Key Responsibility Areas: Office Administration

The Programs Administrator will work as a member of our Kawartha Lakes CFDC Team, ensuring that the KL CFDC’s overarching objectives and mandate are achieved. This is an integral position within the organization, central to multiple priorities and requirements of the operation as established by the Executive Director, in addition to meeting the needs of our clients and strategic partners. Our organization requires an individual with strong administrative, operational, and relationship-building skills. The Programs Administrator must maintain the utmost discretion, attention to detail and ensuring KL CFDC work is treated with the highest confidentiality.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration or other relevant industry experience;
  • Ideally minimum of 3 - 5 years of office administration, accounting and client services experience.
