On behalf of the Board of Directors and Staff at Kawartha Lakes CFDC, Effective Wednesday, July 15th the office will return to regular operating hours from 8am – 4pm daily.
Please note: we do require everyone to have a scheduled appointment in order to enter the premises, as well as wear a non-medical mask during their scheduled appointment (as per the Medical Officer of Health for the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit “HKPR”). Over those years, we have made available in excess of $50,000,000 in financial assistance to businesses dedicated to the expansion of opportunities and increased employment in the City of Kawartha Lakes and surrounding area.More
The KLCFDC currently has a lending capacity of up to $250,000 for local businesses that cannot secure financing through the more traditional channels. Our key loan information and application form are available online.

As an organization, the KLCFDC is always working in our community. All of our Directors are engaged in other activities: volunteering at events, raising funds, mentoring, whatever may be needed, including sitting on other Boards of Directors. We may also be involved as a funding source, through in-kind work or as a facilities provider, or even in becoming a public animator in community economic development activities. We realize it's not always about the money so we look to provide support in whatever ways we can.Learn More
